Google CEO Eric Schmidt Hurting Not Helping in Personalized Search Public Relations

In an interview with Maria Bartiromo of CNBC on Wednesday, December 7th, Google CEO Eric Schmitdt was asked the following question:

“People are treating Google like their most trusted friend. Should they be?”

His response has sent shock waves through the tech community online:

“Well, I think judgement matters… If you have something that you don’t want anyone to know, maybe you shouldn’t be doing it in the first place.”
