A neat idea - combine Americans' love of gambling with their need to find websites.

iWon is a fun site. It's difficult to leave without getting your 100 points - something compels you to continue fiddling until you reach your daily maximum. Each point contributes to your odds in regularly scheduled random drawings, like buying multiple lottery tickets.

So, iWon is getting traffic, and repeat traffic. We wonder how many times people just make up silly searches to get the 7 points. We certainly have.

iWon Is Gone as a Search Engine

By 2008, iWon was no longer a search engine. Now iWon is a gambling portal with the title "IWON: The Best Free Online Games, Casino & Sweeps. Win Money & Prizes!"
