AllTheWeb.com is a terrific new-ish search engine that is growing very fast. You can submit pages to Fast and expect to see your site within a week or so. They're not winning any traffic wars, but that could change as time goes by.
It's also a free url submission site. The best part about Fast is that it is forming relationships with other search engines to provide its rapidly-growing database.
Recently, sites submitted to AllTheWeb.com have been taking an incredibly long time to be added to the index. AllTheWeb.com has also recently added a paid submission feature. These two facts suggest that AllTheWeb.com is prodding webmasters into using their paid submission service. Unfortunately, the system requires that you pay for every page you want added to the index, which is quite a bit different from the system recently implemented by Ask Jeeves/Teoma, in which you pay annually to have your entire site indexed.
AllTheWeb.com's recent moves will inevitably lead to AllTheWeb.com becomming less and less relevant as time goes by.
In the meantime, we recommend that you be very patient when dealing with AllTheWeb.com. Submit your site using their free submission form, and just wait. Eventually, your site will be fully indexed. Paying for a listing will block your site from ever being fully indexed, unless you're willing to pay for every page.

As we said before, the future will tell about AllTheWeb.com. Well, Alltheweb.com has been purchased by Overture, which was then purchased by Yahoo!. People at Yahoo! are suggesting that soon AllTheWeb.com will feature Yahoo! search results. The future of the relationship between Alltheweb and Lycos has yet to be determined, or at least reported. As of March 25th, Alltheweb.com search results are a copy of the new Yahoo! search results.

AllTheWeb.com is a basic search engine, of the old fashioned variety. If your goal is to trick a search engine into ranking your site higher than the competition, AllTheWeb.com is for you! The search results seem to be loaded with sites that stuff their title tags with keywords. In competitive catagories, winning sites often have 10+ word title tags. You will also find many cloaked pages in the search results, as well as many mirror sites.
Yahoo! has announced that soon, all of its properties will feature results from Yahoo! Search. Currently, AllTheWeb.com search results are unique to AllTheWeb and Lycos, but that will change shortly. Watch and see.
